Menlo Park Police Launch Facebook Page
Law enforcement prioritizes social media in 2012.
Menlo Park Police launched a Facebook page this week.
Spokesperson Nicole Acker told City Councilmembers Tuesday night that the purpose of the page is to share messages about missing persons, new laws, programs and crime prevention tips in a timely way.
"We're the hometown for Facebook, so it's time to get onboard with that," Acker said.
