Mike's Camera Replaces Ritz in Menlo Park

The Ritz Camera Store on Santa Cruz Avenue in Menlo Park was expected to close at the end of October, according to store staff.

When the parent company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in July, it put the future of about 800 Ritz-branded stores into question.

The store in Menlo Park will remain in business, with a new brand name. 

Mike's Camera, which is based in Denver, Colorado, bought the store and rebranded it. The new customer experience is very similar to the old one.
