Pierce Road in East Menlo Park is closed to through traffic while CalTrans builds an extra lane for Highway 101 between Marsh Road and Willow.  Drivers of cars and bikes are being detoured from driving through Pierce at Ringwood, creating a route that goes around the . Ringwood Bridge will remain open, until the lane is completed.  Then it will be replaced. CalTrans anticipates will be finished by summer of 2012.
