Rain Won't Ruin Your Weekend Plans

Forecasters expect the wet weather to wrap up by the weekend.

Storm clouds will bring more rain to the Bay Area over the next couple of days, but the skies are expected to clear by the weekend, a National Weather Service forecaster said this afternoon.

Forecaster Steve Anderson said the wet weather will likely continue into Friday.

Some BB-size hail was reported in the San Jose area around noon, but the Bay Area is not likely to see the more dramatic weather reported elsewhere, he said.

There could be some thunder and lightning tonight. High temperatures are expected to be in the 60s, with lows in the 40s.

"It'll be sunny and dry over the weekend," he said.
