Community leaders, East Palo Alto residents and local skateboarders will gather at 3 p.m. for a grand opening celebration and dedication at the Skateboarding Center at Bell Street Park, located at the corner of University Avenue and Bell Street, officials said. The park is the result of a two-year effort by community members and local youth to create a skateboarding park in East Palo Alto, city councilman Ruben Abrica said in a statement. 	 The public is invited to attend the grand opening celebration. --Bay City News
