Northbound Highway 280 is closed between Edgewood and Farm Hill Blvd. while emergency personnel remove a plane from the highway on a flatbed trailer.
The pilot of the Cessna 210 Centurion was forced to make an emergency landing onto the highway about four hours ago, for reasons that are unknown, according to California Highway Patrol.
On the way down, with the rear window of a black Mercedes SL 550, which you can see in the photograph attached to this article. The Mercedes was not damaged enough to be towed, according to CHP. No injuries have been reported.
California Highway Patrol does not know how long the road will be closed.
