Western Wheelers Bike Club Rides on Sunday

Over the Bridge to Nowhere and under the San Mateo-Heyward Bridge they’ll go. But they’re not going to grandmother’s house.

The Western Wheelers Bicycle Club is going to the San Francisco Bay Trail Sunday morning, starting at 9:30 a.m. The Palo Alto-based group is meeting at in Menlo Park, and cycling north to San Francisco. 

At some point along the way, they’ll stop at a park to have a picnic. So if you're coming, pack some snacks.

The group plans to catch back to Menlo Park, so they recommend that anyone who plans to join bring $6.75 for a train ticket to their home station.

The event is open to the public, as are many of the events they organize.
