Woman Arrested in San Mateo County After Rummaging Through Cars
Sheriff's deputies say the 22-year-old Sacramento woman was caught after stealing property from at least four victims in the Woodside area.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA -- A woman was arrested on January 19 after a witness reported seeing her breaking into a vehicle in front of a residence in Woodside.
Deputies responding to the scene located Jamie Cordero (pictured above) inside the victim’s vehicle and arrested her after it was determined that Cordero had taken items from numerous unlocked vehicles and was in possession of stolen property from victims in the immediate area.
Deputies spoke to the three additional victims who were unaware the crimes took place. Two of the victims had items stolen from unlocked vehicles and the other two were victims of mail theft.

Cordero, 22, of Sacramento, was booked into the San Mateo County jail. Deputies checked the area for additional victims and evidence, but nothing was apparent.
