BART Experiences Major Delays Due to Police Activity
Police activity in San Francisco prompted major BART delays on Saturday night.
BART was reporting major delays due to police activity in the San Francisco area on Saturday evening.
Service was temporarily stopped around 9:15 p.m. between the Powell and 24th Street stations, according to a BART dispatcher.
The stoppage was reportedly due to a person in the trackway.

Service has been restored, but BART was reporting major delays of more than 20 minutes in both directions as of 9:45 p.m.
