Marin Deputies, Firefighters Launch Holiday Toy Drive

Neighbors can drop off new and unwrapped toys at several fire stations and substations through Dec. 15.

MILL VALLEY, CA — The Marin County Sheriff's Office has teamed up with the fire department to host the annual holiday toy drive, seeking donations of new toys through Dec. 15.

Until then, community members can visit participating fire stations and sheriff substations and drop off unwrapped gifts for children 2 to 14.

"A big thank you to our partners at Marin County Sheriff's, Bolinas Fire Protection District, Skywalker Ranch Fire Department, and Stinson Beach Fire Protection District for joining us in spreading holiday joy to children across all areas of Marin County," the sheriff's office said. "Your support is making this season brighter for so many families.

Collection bins can be found at the following locations through Dec. 15, 2024:

• 599 Dillon Beach Rd, Tomales
• 33 Castle Rock Ave, Woodacre
• 816 Panoramic Hwy, Mill Valley
• 3410 Shoreline Hwy, Stinson Beach
• 101 4th St, Point Reyes Station
• 100 Mesa Rd, Bolinas
• 850 Drake Ave, Marin City
• 1600 Los Gamos Dr. #200, San Rafael

The toys that are collected will be distributed to families in need on a first-come, first-served basis during two events next month.
