Marin Teachers Stage Apparent Sickout: Report
The Sausalito Marin City School District received no official confirmation from the teachers union of a sickout according to the report.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — Teachers at a Marin district staged an apparent sickout Thursday, The Marin Independent Journal reports.
More than half the teachers at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Academy in Marin City called in sick Thursday, Sausalito Marin City School District Superintendent Itoco Garcia told the news outlet.
Administrators brought in substitute teachers, according to the report.

But a message signed by teachers on a platform available to students that was also sent to parents appeared to confirm a limited work stoppage, the IJ reports.
