Mill Valley Holds Tuesday Morning Traffic ‘DRILL’

MILL VALLEY, CA — A traffic advisory was issued for part of Mill Valley Tuesday morning as authorities conducted an emergency preparedness operation.

Authorities conducted a traffic routing “DRILL” on Miller Avenue between Millwood and Locust avenues, police said.

The “DRILL” started at 9 a.m. and was completed within an hour, according to police.

“At approximately 9:00am, we will be running a traffic routing DRILL Miller Avenue will be open, but subject to traffic delays that will last approximately one hour,” the police alert said.

“This DRILL is testing vehicle routing and set-up time associated with evacuation preparedness.”
