Tickets On Sale For Sound Summit Music Festival In Marin County
The festival located atop Mount Tamalpais returns for year 10.
MILL VALLEY, CA — Fans of the band CAKE will only have to go the distance up to Mount Tamalpais as the band is set to return as the headliner to the Sound Summit Sept. 13 in Mill Valley.
The daylong music festival comes back for a 10th year atop Mount Tam at the historic Mountain Theater.
“We’re looking forward to another eclectic and memorable day on the mountain,” said Michael Nash, Sound Summit producer. “We thought it would be cool to return to our roots for this benchmark and bring back CAKE to helm the event, and they’re psyched to return. Also, curating this Bay Area celebration of Sly’s legacy with music director Larry Batiste has been particularly joyful. The music and lyrics feel as resonant and topical today as when they were written.”
