MILPITAS, CA — Milpitas police recently arrested two San Jose women who investigators allege stole $10,000 worth of merchandise from two stores at the Great Mall.
Despite an attempt to escape, police said officers managed to catch up with both suspects, finding a large amount of stolen goods in the pair's vehicle.
"Thanks to our incredible partnership with the retail stores at the mall, the vigilant Great Mall security team, and our officers, justice prevailed," the department wrote Monday. "We will continue to dedicate resources towards organized retail theft and work hard to keep our community safe."
