5 Arrested In Shoplifting Bust At The Great Mall: Police

Police allege five people stole more than $1,700 in items from stores in the Great Mall before they were caught.

MILPITAS, CA — A recent operation targeting shoplifting and retail theft netted five arrests at the Great Mall in Milpitas, according to police.

Investigators shared several photos of suspects and merchandise that police believe were taken from stores in the mall. Detectives said the stolen items were valued at $1,700 and were returned to their respective stores.

Police said the five suspects face an array of charges, including for alleged shoplifting, outstanding warrants, weapon violations and drug possession.
