Anas Rehman Wins $1,000 College Scholarship from Abe Birthday Scholarship Sweepstakes

Anas Rehman, a student at San Jose State University and a Milpitas resident, recently won a $1,000 scholarship through the Abe Birthday Scholarship Sweepstakes.

Abe, an innovative private student lending program, launched the sweepstakes in June. Altogether, Abe is giving away $20,000, including 15 $1,000 scholarships and one $5,000 grand prize.

“I’m currently studying mechanical engineering at San Jose State, and this money is going to be a big help paying off my tuition next semester,” said Rehman.
