Commercial Burglary Suspect Arrested In Milpitas Per Police
The bleeding suspect broke three glass doors before officers found him with a metal steering wheel lock in his hands per Milpitas police.

MILPITAS, CA -- An 18-year-old Milpitas man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of commercial burglary and vandalism.
Richard Salas was taken into custody and booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail after Milpitas police officers responded to an alarm at 12:06 a.m. in Victoria Liquors at 22 S. Park Victoria Dr.
The first officer arrived on the scene 47 seconds after the initial call and found the glass smashed on the front door of the business. While checking the area for a potential suspect, officers found a second smashed front door at 38 S. Park Victoria Dr. at the T-Mobile shop. There was a metal screen door that prevented the suspect from entering the business. Officers continued to check the area, thus locating a third smashed window at 52 S. Park Victoria Dr. at the Nutricion Y Salud shop.

Here, officers could hear someone inside and saw Salas walking around inside the business with cloth wrapped around his head and a metal steering wheel lock in his hands.
While bleeding from his hands and back, Salas walked toward the officers to flee the scene and was arrested.
