Dancing Cat In San Jose: Hanging Out With Adoptable Felines
Dancing Cat in San Jose bills itself as Silicon Valley's first cat adoption lounge. No cats in cages here; they hang out with you, waiting.
SAN JOSE - A facility that bills itself as Silicon Valley’s first cat adoption lounge, The Dancing Cat, has re-opened in its original location in San Jose.
Beginning May 29 through the fall of 2016, Silicon Valley will have a venue for residents in which they can relax, meet, and mingle while enjoying the company of wandering feline friends who need homes.
According to organizers, guests to The Dancing Cat are invited to bring their own food and beverage. A small selection of drinks and cookies from local bakeries will available for purchase.

The Dancing Cat is the brainchild of founders Mary Rubin and Ann Chasson. They have joined with the Silicon Valley Pet Project to save at-risk shelter pets through rescue, community involvement and education.
Dancing Cat will showcase adult cats who are looking for loving forever homes in order to reduce the number of cats euthanized in the South Bay.
Financial donations are being accepted on The Dancing Cat’s website for a potential, more permanent home for the facility.
