Homeless Man Identified In SJ Fatal Crash: Santa Clara Co Coroner
The man was fatally struck before midnight Saturday on northbound I-680 when he was walking on the right shoulder against traffic: CHP.

SAN JOSE, CA — A homeless man has been identified as the pedestrian killed Saturday night along northbound Interstate 680, the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office said Friday.
Willie Cordova, 61, was fatally hit sometime before 11:46 p.m. Saturday, when the collision was first reported, officials said.
California Highway Patrol dispatch received a call of a person walking on the right-hand shoulder against traffic that night, just south of McKee Road. The coroner identified Cordova, who died on the roadway of multiple blunt force trauma, this week. Cordova is said to be a transient.

The collision shut down all northbound lanes on the freeway. Lanes reopened at 3:56 p.m. Sunday.
