Los Gatos Man Identified In Fatal DUI Crash In San Jose
Aaron Anaya, 24, of Los Gatos died after being transported to the hospital on Saturday.

SAN JOSE, CA -- A man killed in a DUI crash in San Jose early Saturday morning has been identified as Aaron Anaya, a 24-year-old Los Gatos resident, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office.
Anaya was a passenger in a 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by 23-year-old Haley Marie Wenger of San Jose just before 2 a.m. on Saturday. As Wenger was driving south on Piedmont Road approaching Hostetter Road, the car drifted to the right, hit the curb and then a tree. Both Wenger and Anaya were taken to a hospital, where Anaya died a short time later.
Wegener was determined to have been drinking. When she was released from the hospital and booked into jail on suspicion of manslaughter and driving under the influence, according to police.

She has since been released from jail, according to jail records.
The crash was the 36th fatal crash in San Jose this year. To date, 38 people have been killed in car crashes in the city.
