MILPITAS, CA — Four men accused in a rash of home invasions and burglaries in Milpitas and around the region were recently arrested after police allege they were caught in the act.

Robbery detectives in San Jose began investigating a series of crimes in late December, collaborating with several Bay Area agencies after linking the same suspects to similar incidents in Milpitas, San Bruno, Fremont and Union City.

Police allege the suspects stole jewelry, high-end watches, purses, guns and large amounts of crash during the crime spree, deploying a WiFi jamming device to disrupt home security cameras.

Late last month, Fremont detectives coordinated with San Jose's air support unit to arrest four suspects during a burglary in progress in Union City, police said.

The four men were booked into the Alameda County Jail pending transfer to Santa Clara County to face charges related to home invasion and residential burglary.
