Milpitas Police Searching For Suspected Bank Arsonist

According to police, someone placed an "incendiary device" near the front door of a bank before fleeing in a car.

MILPITAS, CA — Milpitas police are asking for the public's help identifying a person suspected of arson.

The suspect placed an incendiary device near the front doors of a bank at 740 E. Calaveras Boulevard on Friday at 2:42 p.m. and lit it on fire according to police.

The device was quickly extinguished, and no property was damaged, or injuries reported.
The suspect fled in a newer, maroon Honda Accord.
