Oakland Felon Arrested, Accused Of Gun Offenses: Milpitas Police
Police responded to the Marshalls parking lot at the Great Mall on an unrelated call and zeroed in on the suspect accused of gun charges.

MILPITAS, CA — An Oakland man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm as a felon in the Marshalls parking lot at the Great Mall in Milpitas, police reported Wednesday.
A Milpitas Police officer was investigating a possible auto burglary in the parking lot at 1360 Great Mall Drive at 8 p.m. about a week ago when the suspect identified as 46-year-old Leonard Frazier was sitting inside a 2001 black Honda Civic. The officer discovered Frazier was on probation in Alameda County for auto theft and had two outstanding warrants for his arrest for drug related charges, the report added.
According to police, officers searched the Honda and found a loaded High Point C9 semi-automatic handgun hidden in a backpack and a methamphetamine glass pipe. The handgun had been reported stolen at the Vallejo Police Department.

Frazier was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for firearm and drug violation as well as having two outstanding warrants.
