Pre-Applications Close Friday For Below Market Rate Homes

SANTA CLARA, CA — The City of Santa Clara, in partnership with Hello Housing, is offering the opportunity for eligible low- and moderate-income households to purchase Below Market Rate homes. Four newly completed condos and townhomes, built by Taylor Morrison, are available at 3041, 3051, and 3045 El Camino Real, with one-, two-, and three-bedroom units available.

The pre-application period is now open for two three-bedroom BMR units located at 3051 and 3045 El Camino Real, with a deadline of February 7, 2025. The income requirements on included in the address links.

Interested applicants must meet specific income limits, household size requirements, and preference criteria to qualify. All eligible applications will be entered into a lottery selection process.

To submit a pre-application, prospective buyers must first obtain a pre-qualification letter from a residential mortgage lender, verifying their ability to meet the purchase price requirements.

Letters older than six months or those that do not reflect the unit’s purchase price will not be accepted. Applicants can work with one of the City’s preferred lenders to obtain this letter.
