Residential Burglaries, Car Break-Ins Reported This Week in Milpitas

This past week in Milpitas, Friday, March 29 through Thursday, April 4, was filled with residential burglaries and multiple thefts from vehicles. 

According to CrimeReports.com, which the Milpitas Police Department uses to update crime information, here's a look at crime reported in Milpitas between Friday, March 29 and Thursday, April 4:

Residential Burglaries:

Sometime between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Friday, March 29, someone broke into a home in the 700 block of Los Pinos Avenue. 

Sometime between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday, April 4, someone broke into a home in the 600 block of Carlsbad Court.

Thefts from Vehicles:

License plates were stolen from two cars a block away this week. The first was reported at 9:43 a.m. on Saturday, March 30 in the 100 block of S. Park Victoria Drive. The second was reported at 8:34 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3 in the 200 block of S. Park Victoria Drive. 

Between Monday, April 1 and Wednesday, April 3, three cars were broken into in the McCarthy Ranch shopping center on Ranch Drive. Another car was broken into in the same center, 200 block of Ranch Drive, at 7:13 p.m. Thursday, April 4. More than $400 worth of items were reported stolen. 

At 7:33 a.m. Thursday, April 4, a report came in of a theft from a vehicle; more than $400 worth of items were stolen from a car in the 1 block of Hemlock Lane. 

At 8:01 a.m. Thursday, April 4, between $50 and $200 worth of items were stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of S. Temple Drive. 

No other information was immediately available.
