San Jose Man Arrested, Accused Of Auto Theft In Milpitas
The man had a BB gun and a 13-year-old in the vehicle at the time of the Saturday night arrest at the Milpitas Town Center.

MILPITAS, CA — An 18-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of auto theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor after a Toyota was reported stolen in San Jose Saturday and he was found later with a juvenile in the vehicle, the Milpitas Police Department reported.
A patrol officer witnessed a stolen 2014 Toyota Rav4 driving through the Milpitas Town Center at 555 East Calaveras Boulevard at 9:18 p.m. and with assistance conducted a high-risk car stop, arresting the driver, Anthony James Hernandez, and a 13 year old male juvenile. Officers found a BB gun inside of the Toyota.
Hernandez was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail, and the juvenile was
released to his parents. His identity is undisclosed.
