Suspended License - Location: Stevens Creek Boulevard and Albany Drive
An officer observed a vehicle with expired registration at the intersection of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Albany Drive. The officer initiated a vehicle enforcement stop with the female driver and male passenger. She provided the officer with a false name, was driving on a suspended driver's license, did not have proof of insurance and had a misdemeanor warrant for $5,000. The suspect was issued a citation and released from the scene.

Vandalism - Location: San Tomas Aquino Creek Trail
An unknown suspect(s) vandalized the stone murals in several locations along the San Tomas Aquino/Saratoga Creek Trail between Monroe Street and Walsh Avenue. The graffiti consisted of black spray painted words that included "Trobulez," "WSSC," "FAB," “oh well,” “Greenville” and “Joedy.” There was also an image of a smiley face. There are no known suspect(s) at this time.

Theft - Location: 2200 Block of El Camino Real
The victim was sleeping inside a vehicle on the 2200 block of El Camino Real when an unknown suspect(s) reached into the car and removed a purse. Inside the purse was the victim’s iPhone, credit cards, driver’s license, keys and money. The loss was estimated at $850.00.

The victim reported the credit cards stolen to the bank and learned the cards had been used to make three purchases. One of the purchases had been made within the hour at a motel in San Jose.

Officers responded to the motel and contacted two male subjects associated with the room rental. The victim's belongings were located inside the vehicle and on the suspect’s person. A Records check revealed both subject’s had multiple outstanding warrants. In addition, the vehicle they had been driving was stolen out of San Jose. Both suspects were arrested and transported to the Santa Clara County Jail.

Grand Theft - Location: 2000 Block of El Camino Real
An unidentified suspect asked to test ride a $6,500 bicycle from a bicycle store on the 2000 block of El Camino Real. The suspect rode away from the store and never returned. The suspect remains at large.

Commercial Burglary - Location: 700 Block of Mathew Street
An unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a business on the 700 block of Mathew Street and vandalized the property. The suspect(s) broke an interior glass office window, numerous window sills, two toilets, two sinks, one urinal, hammered numerous holes into the rooms inside the building and spray painted graffiti in the interior of the building. The victim estimated the damage at $30,000-$40,000. There are no known suspect(s) at this time.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Location: 2500 Block of Keystone Avenue
An officer contacted a male suspect on the 2500 block of Keystone Avenue. The suspect was prowling behind the business late at night. He was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was issued a citation and released from the scene.

Thursday, June 2, 2016
Fraud - Location: 1900 Block of Bowers Avenue
A victim on the 1900 block of Bowers Avenue received a phone call that displayed as 9-1-1. A professional sounding male suspect #1 told the victim to send $3,345.00 via two separate money grams to address a warrant. Suspect #2 came on the phone and stated he was from the Internal Revenue Service. Suspect #2 knew the victim’s full name, address and last four digits of the victim’s social security number. Suspect #2 told the victim $30,000 in back taxes were due and informed the victim that he was familiar with his bank account and was aware he could pay a portion of the money owed. During the second transaction, suspect #2 requested that the victim purchase several iTunes gift cards. The victim found this request suspicious and stayed on the line with suspect #2 and drove to the Police Department. Suspect #2 ended the conversation when the police officer got on the phone line. There are no known suspects at this time.

Warrant Arrest - Location: Homestead Road and Lawrence Expressway
An officer observed a female suspect driving without lights during the hours of darkness on Homestead Road at Lawrence Expressway. The officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop. A Records check revealed the suspect had a warrant out of Santa Clara County for $2,000. She was issued a Notice to Appear and was released at the scene.

Residential Burglary - Location: 3600 Block of Pruneridge Avenue
A residence was burglarized on the 3600 block of Pruneridge Avenue. The suspect(s) entered the residence through an unlocked window, stole items and fled the scene. The suspect(s) remain at large.
