Southwest Airlines Adds Nonstop Hawaii Fares For San Jose

The airline represents the largest carrier with the most service in and out of Mineta San Jose International Airport.

MILPITAS, CA -- Southwest Airlines has announced the launch of nonstop service in 2019 from Mineta San Jose International Airport to two airports in the Hawaiian Islands - Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu, Oahu and Kahului Airport on Maui starting May 5 and 26, respectively.

Introductory fares are now available for purchase online at Southwest.com or by phone at 800-IFLY-SWA.

Southwest is the South Bay airport's largest airline with 115 peak departures daily, as of summer 2019 to the following 31 cities: Albuquerque, Austin, Baltimore/Washington, Boise, Burbank, Cabo San Lucas, Chicago/Midway, Dallas/Love Field, Denver, El Paso, Honolulu (begins 5/5/19), Houston-Hobby, Las Vegas, Long Beach (begins 4/8/19), Los Angeles/LAX, Kahului-Maui (begins 5/26/19), Nashville (begins 6/9/19), New Orleans (seasonal), Ontario, Orange County/Santa Ana, Orlando, Phoenix, Portland, Raleigh/Durham (begins 6/9/19), Reno, Saint Louis, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Seattle, Spokane and Tucson.

Nonstop service from SJC to the Hawaiian Islands is also offered on these carriers:

  • Alaska Airlines: Honolulu, Kona, Kahului, and Lihue – all daily as of summer 2019.
  • Hawaiian Airlines: Honolulu and Kahului, both daily.
