Summer Camp Coming Up In Fremont

This summer, Galileo Learning -- the operator of Camp Galileo (for pre-Ks to rising 5th graders), the Bay Area's #1 most-attended summer day camp -- is launching its acclaimed Galileo Summer Quest program for the first time in Fremont at Gomes Elementary School, 555 Lemos Lane.

Designed especially for 5th to 8th graders, Galileo Summer Quest is an immersive and exciting Bay Area summer day camp that lets campers dive deeply into one amazing major during each week-long session.

Majors are offered in Chefology, Video Game Design, Cartoon Workshop, Go Kart Makers and Painter's Studio. Fantastic mentors and small, team-oriented classes inspire campers to pursue new crafts, create new friendships and build the skills to make their ideas realities.

Galileo Summer Quest begins in Fremont on July 9th and runs through August 10th.  Camp programs run Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, with extended care hours available from 8:00-9:00 am and 3:00-6:00 pm. 

Galileo Summer Quest uses a unique educational approach focused on helping kids develop the skills and confidence to bring their ideas to life through the Galileo Innovation Approach.  This approach teaches campers to develop an innovator's mindset and provides them a process for innovating -- skills that can be applied to every aspect of their school and personal lives.
