MILPITAS, CA — A man has been accused of sending sexually explicit messages to a female minor when he was her swim coach, San Jose police said Friday.

Anthony Daly, 28, of San Mateo was arrested July 18 on suspicion of annoying or molesting a minor, police said.

The messages were allegedly sent to the girl on multiple occasions between July and September of 2023 when Daly was coaching in Milpitas, police said. An investigation began in January.
