Traffic Advisory Near Levi's Stadium Sunday
Santa Clara police is warning motorists to stay clear of the stadium on Marie P DeBartolo Way on Sunday when the 49ers play the Rams.
MILPITAS, CA -- Heads up motorists wanting a stress-free Sunday. Santa Clara police expect delays and heavy traffic near Levi's Stadium Sunday afternoon when the San Francisco 49ers take on the Los Angeles Rams.
The inner-state duel is expected to bring out 68,500 fans all descending on the area surrounding Marie P. DeBartolo Way. Highways 101 and 237, along with Interstate 880 and the Lawrence Expressway may experience heavy traffic. Plus, Tasman Drive will be closed from Convention Center Drive.
Stadium goers are asked to take public transportation and refrain from parking in residential neighborhoods. Parking lots will open at 9:55 a.m., and the gates will open at 11:25 a.m. Complimentary bicycle valet is available in Red Lots 1 and 6 and in Green Lot 1.
