The crash that occurred on Highway 130 early Thursday also took out a gas line affecting service to two customers.

SAN JOSE, CA -- At least one person was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a vehicle crashed into a home in unincorporated Santa Clara County just outside of the San Jose city limits early this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said the collision was first reported around 1:30 a.m. in the 5300 block of Alum Rock Avenue, which is also state Highway 130. The vehicle that collided into the home also took out a gas main that eliminated
service to two customers, according to Pacific Gas and Electric.
PG&E spokeswoman Karly Hernandez said a service representative was able to get to the scene at 1:56 a.m., but there was no estimated time of restoration. Neither the motorist nor residents in the home were injured.
