City Of Mission Viejo: Have A Blast Volunteering At The Oso Fit 5K Fun Run Feb. 26

Have fun and give back by volunteering for the Oso Fit 5K Fun Run and Community Health Fair on Saturday, February 26 at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.

Designed to benefit the community, the 5K Fun Run starts at 8:30 am at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center and takes place along the beautiful Oso Creek Trail.

Energetic volunteers are to sought to help direct the 5K route and kids’ run. This event is a great way to give back and earn community service credits. Register by February 24.

Along with volunteers, community members are invited to take part in the event. Pre-register by 7 pm on Friday, February 18 to save $10. Pre-registration is $25 for adults and $15 for age 12 and under. Both increase $10 and the Kids’ Run jumps to $7 after February 18. One hundred percent of your pre-registration fee goes directly to the local nonprofit of your choice.

The event boasts a free Community Health Fair featuring health and wellness organizations offering giveaways and informational handouts. In addition, a wide variety of health screenings will be available including a 3D foot scan, blood pressure check, balance assessment, dental scans and much more.
