Impactful Mission Viejo Residents Sought For City's 'Wall Of Recognition'

The City is accepting nominations for the Wall of Recognition Award, created to recognize individuals who have contributed extraordinary, lasting and highly significant service to the community.

Nominees must be residents of Mission Viejo, and their service must have been performed in or have directly benefited the community. The nominee’s action must demonstrate exemplary conduct above and beyond what is normally expected and not connected to paid employment responsibilities. The nomination process involves submitting an online application and a signature sheet demonstrating support for the nomination by at least 20 individuals whose primary residence is Mission Viejo. Applications can be submitted by the nominee’s family, a community member, local official or nonprofit organization or business. Award eligibility, selection process, application and signature sheets are available at this link.
Applications and signature sheets are due by 5 pm Friday, February 27. The selected honoree(s) will be recognized at a special presentation with their name and contributions etched on the Wall of Recognition display at the City’s Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center.
