Local Teen wins National Title in United States National Pageant

MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE – Amber Duke, a high school senior at Tesoro High School wins the national title of Miss Teen United States. The event took place at the Miss United States National Pageant on October 8, 2024, at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in Memphis, TN.
Amber is a high school senior, an active member in student government and honor student, she is a nationally ranked figure skater, Vice President of the Orange County Figure Skating Club and founded the West Coast Figure Skating High School Team. Amber has been a Girl Scout since kindergarten, earning her Bronze, Silver and currently completing her Gold Award. She also serves as a teen representative for the City of Mission Viejo Community of Character committee.
Her platform is The Ronald McDonald House Charities where she developed a partnership with Southwest Airlines to donate and provide ongoing meals for The Ronald McDonald House in Orange, CA.
Amber will start college in fall 2025 majoring in economics and marketing and plans to attend a semester abroad. She loves the California beaches, snowboarding, scuba diving, and discovering new places in Orange County and LA.
