Los Angeles Rams Training Camp Starting in Irvine
UC Irvine will host the training camp for the Los Angeles Rams starting later this month, July 2016, according to officials.

Irvine, CA--The Los Angeles Rams will hold the team's training camp, starting later this month, on the campus of UC Irvine, officials announced today.
University officials say it's a bit of a homecoming for the Rams, who have returned to Southern California from St. Louis, because the team previously practiced on the Irvine campus from 1990 to 1992 and in 1994.
The Rams also played in Anaheim Stadium from 1980 to 1995.

Rookies report to Irvine on July 26 with the rest of the team joining them on July 29.

The first public practice will be July 30. Some players will sign autographs after open practices, officials said.
The Rams will hold training camp at UCI for the next three years. The agreement includes a renewal option.
The players will practice on UCI's Crawford Field, and Rams fans can watch the players without charge.
"This is an exciting time for NFL fans, and we'll do everything we can to ensure that this is a great experience for everyone involved," UCI Athletic Director Mike Izzi said. "We welcome the Rams back, and although UCI doesn't have a football team, we take great pride in our facilities and our athletic accomplishments."
