Mission Viejo Hockey Player Named To UCHC All-Academic Team

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Phillip Shemyakin of Mission Viejo, Ca., is one of 33 Lebanon Valley College ice hockey student-athletes recognized for their academic performance during the 2020-21 season.

Shemyakin graduated from Chino Hills High School and is pursuing a bachelor of science in exercise science at Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania.

"To be eligible for All-Academic consideration, a player must have completed at least one academic year at their current institution while holding a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher for all terms of the 2020-21 academic year," Tom Hanahan, spokesperson for LVC said.
