M.V. Teens Advance in Elks Essay Contest
Three La Paz Intermediate School winners will advance to the state competition.
They answered the question: "Why am I proud to be an American?"
Now three La Paz Intermediate students will move on to the state essay contest finals, run by the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
Megan Cunningham, Deion Pagaduan and Allison Zundel all won in their division with their 250-word essays. The students were judged on originality, development of the theme, mechanics and neatness.
