New Cookie-Centric Bakery Prepares For Opening In Mission Viejo

The sweet shop will be the first of its kind in Orange County, city officials said.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A new bakery is gearing up to open its doors in Mission Viejo, as Cookie Co. Mission Viejo announced its plans to open in the La Paz and Marguerite shopping center this week.

The location at 25106 Marguerite Parkway will be the first of its kind in Orange County, and will be owned and operated by Mission Viejo resident and franchise owner Charles Heilman.

The sweet shop is a gourmet cookie bakery that boasts more than 100 different recipes, and the Mission Viejo location will offer four different flavors a week — with chocolate chip as a menu mainstay.

Cookie Co. Mission Viejo will also offer "Twisted Sodas," where customers can choose a soda and add a flavorful twist and catering for parties and events.
