Police: Possible Rita's Robber at Wells Fargo Unfounded
Though a man fitting the description of the robber who violently assaulted the owners of Rita's Jewelry store appeared at the nearby Wells Fargo, police believe the man seen is not the suspect.

Employees at the Wells Fargo at 24471 Alicia Parkway got a fright when a man fitting the description of a violent robber showed up in the store this morning around 11 a.m.

So when a man fitting the description of one of the robbers came into Wells Fargo, employees called police. They told police the man was holding his arm in such a way that he may have been concealing a gun beneath his jacket.

But Sgt. Sandi Kirsch of Mission Viejo Police Services says the license plate of the man at Wells Fargo showed that he's never been involved in a crime.
"It's just people being aware, and we appreciate it," she said.

She added that the suspects in the Rita's robbery have exclusively hit jewelry stores.
