Residents Encouraged To Attend STEAM Week With First Responders

The Mission Viejo Library is hosting several local first responder agencies during STEAM Week April 7-11.

Kids in third grade or older can join the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Orange County Fire Authority, FALCK, Crime Lab and more for educational interactive presentations every day during STEAM Week from 9 am to noon. Attendees will learn about the Crime Lab, Bomb Squad, Motor Patrol and more. Presentations will take place inside the library’s Storytime Room and outside in The Kershaw Garden.
Registration for the whole week is required, and participants should attend each day. STEAM Week is free for registered participants.

Many of the agencies are on active duty, so activities will be provided in case any need to leave early.
