Road Closure In Mission Viejo Begins Monday: What To Know

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Mission Viejo residents, be aware: an intersection will be closed to the public through mid-February of next year starting Monday.

The intersection of Via Pimiento and Los Alisos Boulevard will be closed starting Monday, Sept. 30 so the Metropolitan Water District can perform emergency repairs to a large diameter water pipeline located in the street on Via Pimiento, the city said.

Residents can access the area from Via Pera and Via Cereza in the meantime, and motorists should follow detour signs in the area, the city said.

Parking along a small stretch of Via Pimiento will be closed during construction, though residents can find parking on Los Alisos Boulevard as shown on a map released by the city.
