Orange County sheriffs spotted a narcotics suspect hiding in a shed Thursday morning near the corner of Felipe and Marguerite, authorities said.
A father called the sheriff at 8:45 a.m. after his daughter said her friend was acting strangely and was possibly under the influence of drugs. Her friend jumped into the neighbor's back yard on the 26900 block of Quevedo Lane and was hiding, said Lt. Steve Gil with the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
That made finding the man tricky, Gil said, so the sheriffs helicopter was called in to assist.
"We found the guy hiding in the shed," he said. "Nobody was at risk. The guy was under the influence. There were some narcotics found."
Justin DeLeon, 21, was arrested. Someone with the same name was charged in 2009 with carrying a switchblade, a misdemeanor. That charge was later dismissed.
