Laguna Hills sheriff's investigators responded to a call for service in October that led them to later find evidence that several years earlier the accuser was sexually abused by Heath, who was the family's bible study group leader.

Heath was also a member of Generations Church in Placentia and owned and operated from 2010-12 the "Action Kids" youth fitness center in Placentia, deputies said. He also led a bible study group known as "The Branch" and was the founder and president of "Deed and Truth Ministries," a nonprofit organization in San Diego, deputies said.
