South OC Eatery To Host Grand Reopening After Fire
A popular Laguna Hills restaurant is preparing to serve patrons once more after a destructive fire forced them to shut down.
LAGUNA HILLS, CA — After a destructive fire and several years of renovations, Laguna Hills eatery Mint Desi Craft Kitchen announced its grand reopening on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
The announcement comes after Mint's grand reopening, set for 2022, was delayed by a kitchen fire.
"It's incredibly gratifying to reopen Mint finally. These past few years have certainly brought a few setbacks, but the community's excitement and encouragement have made all the hard work worthwhile," Head Chef Jamil Hosseini said.

The Indian-Pakistani eatery's kitchen is led by Hosseini with guidance from Michelin-recognized chef Imran Ali Mookhi of Khan Saab Desi Craft Kitchen and SHOR Bazaar.
The restaurant aims to redefine Pakistani and Indian cuisine by showcasing its elegant potential.

The south Orange County eatery originally opened in 2016 with a goal to challenge the perception that regional halal dining in the United States is limited to casual, stop-and-go eateries.
