This Week’s Happy Hour Spotlight

A long-time favorite of Dana Point

With happy hours becoming increasingly rare, I thought it would be a great idea to shine a spotlight on the restaurants that still offer this delightful experience. I’ll be sharing my favorites on a weekly basis, so be on the lookout!

This past Monday evening, I gathered with girlfriends at BRIO TUSCANY GRILLE, conveniently located in Dana Point at the intersection of Niguel and Camino Del Avion. Established in 1993, this charming restaurant feels timeless. After browsing their happy hour specials online, I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic prices—almost too good to be true!

BRIO’s happy hour runs daily from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, offering an enticing menu with food items ranging from just $4 for garlic bread to $12 for exquisite Ahi Tuna or Scallops. Drink specials are equally appealing, with prices at $7 and $8. My personal favorites? The delicious lemon drop martinis paired with their mouthwatering meatballs.

What’s even better is that you don’t have to sit at the bar to enjoy happy hour; it’s available throughout the entire restaurant. You'll often find the friendly and professional Claudio serving up great hospitality.

I wholeheartedly recommend BRIO TUSCANY GRILLE—it's truly one of my top picks!
