Weekend Road Work Scheduled In Mission Viejo: What To Know
The La Paz Bridge Rehabilitation and Roadway Widening Project is nearing completion, and weekend closures are underway.
MISSION VIEJO, CA — The La Paz Bridge Rehabilitation and Roadway Widening Project is nearing its final stage of completion, and weekend lane closures are underway in Mission Viejo.
According to the city, lane closures on La Paz are planned overnight Friday, March 7 to Saturday for road striping work.
The work is scheduled to take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. and will include a minimum of one lane open in each direction during the work, the city said.

The project has widened the stretch of La Paz Road between Muirlands and Chrisanta from four to six lanes, the city said. The project has also provided safety enhancements to the bridges that were built six decades ago.
