Woman Injured In Mission Viejo House Fire: OCFA
The fire was reported in the 1200 block of Las Nieves in the City of Mission Viejo Tuesday, firefighters said.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A woman was injured in a house fire late Tuesday morning, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.
The blaze was reported at 11:03 a.m. Tuesday on Las Nieves in the City of Mission Viejo, OCFA Fire Capt. Thanh Nguyen told Patch.
Upon arrival, firefighters simultaneously worked to quell the flames while performing a search for any residents or pets trapped inside.

Firefighters managed to rescue one woman, who was not immediately identified. She was taken to a local hospital after being treated by firefighter paramedics and her condition was not known, Nguyen said.
The blaze was knocked down in 24 minutes and no other homes were damaged.

According to firefighters, a bystander was apparently using a garden hose to try to douse the flames prior to their arrival.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
