Hit-And-Run Victim Returns to Clifton
The 12-year-old Clifton Middle School student who was seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision in January has made vast improvements and visited the school for the first time Thursday.

Principal Jennifer Gates wrote the following email to Patch about Berenice De La Torre, the 12-year-old earlier this year:
Berenice was released from the hospital two days ago and is home on her road to recovery. Her family wants to thank everyone for their support and prayers over the past three months.
Berenice said, "I am happy to be home because I can swim. I want to thank my friends for being supportive."
