LA Fire Justice is a coalition of experienced LA wildfire lawyers, world-class fire origin and causation experts, insurance specialists, and community engagement leaders committed to seeking justice from Southern California Edison for victims of the Eaton Fire. Principal Jennifer Gates wrote the following email to Patch about Berenice De La Torre, the 12-year-old earlier this year: Berenice was released from the hospital two days ago and is home on her road to recovery. Her family wants to thank everyone for their support and prayers over the past three months. Berenice said, "I am happy to be home because I can swim.  I want to thank my friends for being supportive."  She is going to start Monday with a home health teacher five hours a week until the end of the school year and she will continue to receive rehabilitation through Children's Hospital.  She is a walking miracle!  It was so wonderful to see her at Clifton today and we are so pleased with the . The generous donations exceeded $5,000.
