Metro Launches Late Night Weekend Service
The late night service will be offered on all Metro rail lines, including the Gold Line.
The Metro Blue, Red, Green, Gold, Orange, Purple and Expo now operates until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. The new schedule began Friday.
The Orange Line will run up until 2:40 a.m. to accommodate the transfer of patrons from the Metro Red Line at the North Hollywood Station.
The closest Gold Line station to Monrovia is the Sierra Madre Villa station in east Pasadena. The Foothill Extension will bring light rail service to Monrovia in 2014.
